When was this again?

Oh right. This was back in December. PPC Christmas Party, Aloy’s Board Passers Celebration and Whatnot. I miss this little dorm. It’s been forever since I stayed there. My Saturday nights in the past two years. Or three. I need these back!

And our very own, Tres Calamares.

Fun times! Fun times.

JUAN CARLOS TAN SANTOS, RRT

Nothing makes me happier tonight than my friends passing the Radiologic Technology Board Examination! Especially my co-Pepe Club, Aloy! And almost all of my friends from same and different schools passed! I’m so happy right now I can’t even contain them.

Seriously, my happiness consumes me already! Let’s get ready to party! :D

Yearly Rad Tech Convention In Baguio

Studying Radiologic Technology has many different varieties of excitement. One of them is the yearly convention held in Baguio. It is the most anticipated event every year. It is actually a convention for all the Rad Techs in the Philippines, be it students or professionals.

It’s huge event held at Teacher’s Camp Baguio. Each school has it’s house to stay into. For us students, this convention is all about drinking, strolling and more drinking. You can be as trashy as you want, as drunk as you can get as long as you don’t leave your house. It’s a 3-day drinking party. Drink at night, sleep all day in the convention. I think that’s how it really goes for students.

First Convention 2008

In this year, it was actually my debut in the convention. Don’t know how to rock the nights and I’m with my co-transferees as well. But anyhow, we managed to pull it off. I was really drunk on the last night without remembering anything the next day!

Second Convention 2009

2009’s convention was probably the happiest I’ve been into! I’m with Pepe Club! And to top it all off, we all managed to come! Pepe Club, the complete version! I’ve experienced the craziest nights and days ever! On the first night, we’ve been drinking like crazy and I was totally knocked off so early! It was fun though. First nights were actually the best among the three days stay.

And of course, the group picture in famous spots.

Third Convention 2010

It’s really not a remarkable year for us even though it’s our last year of convention as students. First of, we’re not complete, and that alone is sad. Second, it’s kinda crappy that Jas, Lei, and Dulce were separated from our room. Lastly, the new professor definitely did not know the norms and prohibited all of us from drinking. It’s so bad that we have to smuggle the drinks from the outside and drink secretly in our room. The one thing that we are looking forward the most during the convention is, drinking in the cold weather. It just feels so nice!

And yes, we played Bingo with everyone! While drinking of course. Hihi *u*

Last day. /sob

Remarkable moments in bullets:

  • That moment of arrival in Teacher’s Camp
  • First night dinner and strolling
  • First night drinking
  • Sleeping with sunglasses the next morning (I believe Rad Techs knows what this means. Hihi.)
  • Freezing cold water in the morning
  • The super super long line for the meals
  • Pasalubong shopping!
  • Ahh, of course, how could I forget that one electrical outlet you’d kill for. For that charging needs.

I will never forget these 3 amazing conventions! It has been so good. And for the next one I’ll be attending, I’m probably a Professional by then so these kind of things isn’t exactly what Professionals do. It’s more like the serious kind.
