In Its 3rd Year
It’s been what? 3 years since I met you and gave me the memory I can’t even bury and forget until now. Every hand move, every hour, every thing that we did that day, always came rushing back in front of my mind.
It all happened June 18, 2008. You took me out, let me do the picking. We decided to meet up at 11:00 am in Starbucks Gateway. I came late in at 11:20 am. You were there, waiting for me. You were sipping your Dark Mocha Frappé in Venti. We talked and decided what to do. We left SB at past 12. Went our way to the train station. You bought the tickets and waited for the train. It was packed in the train. We were standing but when you saw that there was one open space, you let me sit then you stood in front of me while you listen to your iPod. It was the best train ride at the moment. It’s as if you were protecting me while you stood in front of me. We reached the last station. I don’t even know what station it was. Taft? I guess. You took my hand while we find our way out. We got lost. You’re so funny. I enjoyed getting lost in that moment until then you found the right exit. We rode that cute orange mini jeepneys to MOA. We went inside the mall, and while walking randomly, our elbows bumped and then we felt this kind of ground whatever. I don’t know what it is but its as if electricity runs on both of us. I said that maybe we’re meant to be, then you laugh. You said that let’s eat lunch first. We ate in McDonalds and you suggested that I pay the food and you pay the movies. It was decided that we will divide the expenses. It was a clever idea. You ordered a piece of chicken and rice and a coke. I ordered McNuggets, large fries and a coke. And while we’re eating, you were telling me the show you have watched the night before. About the Bermuda Triangle. I was totally having fun at the time. Then you show me magic tricks and stuff and I was really laughing myself. You never bore me, you know how to keep a conversation going. No awkward silences at all. You were amazing. After we ate, we head straight to buy movie tickets. We decided to watch Hulk. I think It was 50 minutes before the start of the movie so we stroll around some more. We stayed in the Ice skating rink and you were making fun of the people skating. I was laughing the whole time as you criticize them. 10 minutes before showing, we went straight inside. You bought me some coke to drink and then the movie started. I didn’t know you were so serious watching a movie but then again, you were making me laugh from time to time. At a random moment, you said that you want to hang out some more in the seaside after the movies, and of course I said yes. After the movie, we went straight ahead in the seaside. You gave me the other piece of your earphone then you played your favorites while telling me stories behind those bands. You were telling me stories about migrating birds and stuff, you even let me take a peek inside your bag which is full of papers with drawings. We grabbed a drink at Starbucks because you said you want some coffee. You even chose my drink. We went back at the seaside and while were at it, you got lost again. Haha! You were so funny that you got me laughing the whole time. It was so random when you kissed me in the cheek. Blood suddenly rushed in my face! You and I exchanged stories and stuff until we got lost in time. It was 8:30 pm when we decided to go home. Aww. We took an FX ride going to Morayta then you took me home, well not really home but took me on the way home. When it was time to part each other, you asked for a kiss in the cheek. I kissed you. It was the sweetest thing the whole day.
An then after some months, after some more memories, we parted… permanently.
