I'm truly, madly, passionately in-love with kittens of all kinds.

Boracay Day 3!

Woke up as early as 5:30 because my Mom dragged me out of the bed to watch the sunrise at the Grotto in Station 1. I didn’t even have time to change clothes so I had the same clothes since the night before. Walked all the way from Station 2 to Station 1 and it was exhausting I tell you. But I did enjoy the view tho!

Still dark but the hotel at its best view!

Bliss.

Confused if they’re still drinking or starting to drink that morning.

Almost there! It was such a long walk! But worth it. :)

I regret not changing to swim clothes because the water’s nice! I did took a dip tho. /Wuuu, I miss Boracay already! ;_;

After that, we walked back but I had to stop by at Starbucks because I was craving my Green Tea Frappe. Good thing Bora has Starbucks in the island! On the way back, I ordered the famous Calamansi Muffins but they said I had to come back later in the afternoon to get it. I didn’t come back because I’m too tired to walk all the way wtf. /Regretted it after ;_;

Had breakfast then enjoyed the ocean for a few more hours because we had to check out by 11am.

It was pretty much past 12pm that time and our flight was still 9pm in the evening. Spent all the time walking, eating, shopping and pretty much wasted time because we didn’t took many pictures for who-knows-why wtf.

Sunset on the boat ride back to the port! It was truly beautiful ;_;

I spent the two-hour drive to the airport sleeping. Felt so tired I couldn’t even move a muscle.

While waiting for our flight. Thinking of inking that Radioactive Trefoil in my neck but much smaller. What do you think?

The flight on the way home was so short I didn’t even get the chance to sleep. Was sitting in the window side and spent the time looking at the view. When the plane reached the city, I was astounded by how beautiful the lights were! I never had the chance to take a picture because the steward was so strict he kept badgering me to keep my phone even tho I already told him that it was on flight mode. /Stingy Steward wtf.

Went straightly home after and slept because I had work early the next day wtf.

It was a nice vacation! Even tho I’m not the beach type of person, Boracay took my heart in a swing. Boracay truly is a paradise and I’m definitely going back!

Boracay Day 2!

The night before, we planned to wake up early to see the sunrise but it was a total fail because when my cousin Lyn was waking me up around 5am, I didn’t respond to her at all. I regretted it afterwards.

So we all woke up past 6am and immediately changed to swim clothes because we don’t wanna waste anymore time. We had our breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant around 7am, I think. Actually I was with my cousins only, we separated from Mom’s friends.

They had this wall thingy so might as well use it. HAHAHAHA

After breakfast, Mom called us and asked us to meet them because they had a contact to this person for our water activities. We met them at the beach front and then waited for the person to fetch us.

Because every moment counts la.

Everywhere is beautiful my eyes can’t take it. *u*

We had Banana Boat first. It was a long ass banana I didn’t even thought that 20 people could fit in. It was my first time and I was anticipating it so much.

I took the back seat because I thought it would be more fun. It was not. ;_;

With everybody.

The ride isn’t exciting at all. ;_; The speed boat just dragged the long ass banana from station 3 all the way to station 1 and back again. The thrill I was seeking isn’t there at all. I even thought of letting go and making myself thrown out but I’m afraid that something’s gonna eat my legs so I didn’t do it. One thing’s for sure tho, I won’t ride the thing again. Maybe. I wish I had the Flying Fish instead, it looks way more fun. ;_;

After the Banana Boat, We did Helmet Diving. I anticipated it above anything else! But we waited for about half an hour in the scorching hot sun because the people who went before us took so long. We swam while waiting tho, and took pictures!

/eyes crying. Everything’s beautiful ;_;

They buried half of my body. The reason why I didn’t get sunburn la. /:p

The boat that will take us in the middle of the ocean finally came then we went more or less 100 feet under the sea. I’m not sure how exactly deep it is though. I was kinda scared when they were briefing us but I gotta do it. Randy went first, then Ate Karen. I immediately snatched the place to Lyn because all I thought was I don’t wanna be the last. They helped me in getting down and when they were putting the helmet thing on me, someone dragged my legs down. It was fine but the horrible thing is the pressure while getting down. I almost thought my ears could just burst out of pressure. I did it tho, my body landed safely underwater.

I was kinda disappointed really. All I saw was dead corals, there was even a playing card. But the fishes were amazing! If people could only treasure what’s given to them. /sigh

It was after the pictures was given to us that I realized that I had that weird ball above my head. They said it was to lighten up but the helmet felt like it was gonna crush my shoulders! How much more if without that? ;_;

The guy who took our pictures made us kneel. ;_; I dunno what the heck he was thinking making us do that. We did everything he said though.

I fed the fishes! It was the most exciting thing we did underwater. We fed them bread but the fishes isn’t satisfied they even bit my finger ;_; My finger isn’t even tasty.

Overall, it was an exciting experience! I would even want to do it again! Another slash in my bucket list yey! n_n

Finally saw Milk Tea! We were actually looking for it the whole time. ;_;

We had lunch at Hap Chan and the food is as tasty as always but here’s the thing: they had the worst service ever. It was really bad. /tsk

After lunch we swam to our hearts content in the hotel’s swimming pool. It was nice! After swimming for hours, we decided to get Henna Tattoo!

I had this Radioactive Trefoil on my neck because you know, I love my profession so much. I’m thinking of getting it permanent but I must convince my parents first. ;_;

We swam once again in the ocean until sunset. I missed the sunrise but when I saw the sunset, I had it even. It was the most beautiful thing I saw that day.

Nightfall came when we all decided to rinse and have dinner because we were kinda hungry from all the activities we did. We met with Mom’s group again and had dinner together. While eating…

We saw fireworks! Our day couldn’t be anymore complete.

After eating, we watched a little bit of fire dancers then went back to room for rest. My body tired the hell out of itself so I was asleep by the time I laid my body on bed. I wish I didn’t tho because I could have done more! ;_;

/end of day 2.

Boracay Day 1!

This is the long-awaited Boracay post! /sorry I say long-awaited but nobody cares except me HAHAHAHA

It started when Mom randomly asked me on a random night if I wanted to go to Boracay and of course the giddy-wanderlust me said yes. Who’d say no to a free trip? No one. Mom did the arrangements and booking because we’re with her office-mates and everything was done by sometime August I think. Also my cousins were going too la! Our trip was Oct. 26-28.

Oct. 26, it was a Holiday yey and our flight was in the afternoon wtf. So much time waste for day one. I woke up pretty early because I still need to pack because I haven’t packed the night before because yeah I’m lazy like that /sorry too much reasons la. We were picked up by Mom’s office-mates around 9:30 then went to Park N’ Drive to deposit the car. Everything was smooth in checking-in at the airport, no hassles at all!

Of course I got window-seat! It was actually my Mom’s seat but I had her change with me HAHAHAHA

Errol, Tita Tin and Me. We just had to do this.

From the overpopulated Manila to 25,000 feet above the ground to awesomely green Aklan. I saw the difference with my own eyes! The horror! But Manila will always be my favorite place in the PH.

Touchdown Kalibo, Aklan! Okay this looks weird, I tell you it’s not what you think! I don’t know why I posed the same wtf.

I saw this in the airport and I just had to do it. It was awesome.

From airport to jetty port, it was a 2-hour land drive. It was hell because I hate long drives, I totally hate it wtf (I am actually impressed on how I survived our Bicol-Caramoan drive). Then when we reached the port, we had to wait some more because the boat that will take us to Boracay is still not there wtf. I really hate waiting wtf. When it’s time to board the ship… /I call it ship because it really is a ship! …it was just 5 minutes then we’re in Boracay! Amazeballs! We rode a cute tricycle to our hotel, La Carmela De Boracay in Station 2!

We literally just checked-in, dropped our bags in the room, changed to swim clothes and dashed out to the beach! We didn’t even settled for rest because yes we’re excited like that. Before heading to the beach, we just had to take pictures here because we’re feeling touristy-ish right that moment.

That time it was drizzling wtf. It was actually raining! But whatever we still took a dip and yes, more pictures!

The water was good! /not that it tastes good wtf but feels good la HAHAHA. The entire view was amazing my eyes cannot even take its goodness.

With sort-of everybody.

Nightfall came when my cousins arrived at Boracay. They said their flight was delayed wtf.

Me and my brother helped them settle in their room. Oh I forgot to mention that we had such nice rooms! It had flat-screen TV with cable ftw and I even got to watch Bleach la! A mini-frigde, vault and nice bathroom.

After settling-in, we had dinner. It was a total pain in the ass finding on where to eat because by night, everything in Boracay becomes expensive wtf. We had to walk miles and miles finding a good place to eat until we saw this quite pretty good place. They serve a variety of Japanese dishes and all other cuisines. The price tho is still pretty expensive wtf. The food was, not at its best but still pretty tasty. /sorry I forgot to take picture of food because we’re starving we literally devoured the thing. ;_;

After eating, we walked by the beach. Barefoot. How badass can that be? Walking barefoot on the fine powdery sand of Boracay feels so good! Even the water feels good.

Goofing around with my cousins is so much fun!

Sorry la we had to do this just because. :”>

Had a few drinks of course. There was 2 foreign couples (/sorry don’t know what race) dancing their hearts out and it was too much fun to watch. I was creepily staring at them the whole time and hoping they don’t thought I’m a creepy person wtf.

On the way back, we saw fire dancers! So of course…

The view, the music, those fire dancers, the crowd. Boracay is truly a paradise.

CWC Day 4, Naga City Day 5

After the 3-day beach trip at Caramoan, we got back in the city and went to CWC for wake-boarding! Yay! It was my first time but I fell in-love almost instantly!

Initially, I was scared to try it but it looked like it was so much fun and thrilling! I tried it still. We had a trainer teaching us the basics and all that sort of stuff. He thought us knee-boarding. It was hard at first but I never thought I could actually do it!

I did 4 laps over-all. My first lap was embarrassing! I fell down half-way, the other three were pretty much a successful full laps! It was so much fun! I’m definitely going back.

Next time I come back. I’ll be geared-up for real wake-boarding!

After CWC, we checked-in at the nearby hotel for the night. My arms were hurting like crazy for days because of wake-boarding but it was all worth it. Before departing Bicol, we bought souvenirs and I prayed in the Our Lady of Penafrancia Church for my upcoming Board Exam that time. My prayer was truly answered.

Until then, Bicol!

Caramoan Get-Away Day 3

Day two of Island hopping! Caramoan has 7 islands and it would be damn impossible to enjoy all of them in a day. The boat ride from island to island is quite long, from 15 minutes to an hour per island. So on first day we get to visit 3 islands and second day, we hopped on 4 islands.

We woke up, changed to swim clothes, have breakfast and so the day begins!

Our first island is like a sad bar. Very shallow and the water was like just above our knees. There were lots of starfish though. And when I said lots, I mean lots. The kids enjoyed the waters but us, adults, not particularly but so-so.

It was particularly hot that day. Scorching hot. After the dip in that island, we went straight to the next. It was still… a sandbar. And as usual, the water was shallow and there’s this sand islet in the middle. The white sand looks so nice placed in there. We had our lunch sitting in the water and it was just the coolest thing we did!

There is this part where as the water gets deeper and has corals, Sea Urchins was laying around everywhere. While we’re swimming, one of the tourist got stung by its spikes and the spike got stuck in her foot. Sea Urchin spikes are poisonous so they need to take the spike immediately. Since we were like in the middle of nowhere, I mean in the middle of an island bar with nothing, their tourist guide began the first aid care. They don’t have tweezers or anything to remove the spike so my Mom’s office mates volunteered me to remove the spike since I have longer nails. They even said I was in the medical field. It was quite embarrassing because since they’ve known that, I thought they would be expecting something from me. So I tried my best to remove it. It took me a long time to remove that shitty spike! I got probably 75% of it out but there’re still a little bit left and it’s not possible to remove it there and they have to take the lady back at the hotel. They thanked me and it was such a nice feeling! It was awesome to think that I actually helped someone. No, really, it was so nice! It was the best part of the get-away all together.

So after the island-hopping, I said to the tour guide that we didn’t get to enjoy deep waters. So while on the way back to the hotel, she let us swam for a few minutes in the middle of the ocean. Again.

After that, I got really sun-burned. When we got back to the hotel, my body ached like hell so I missed dinner at the main hotel and I asked Mom to get me dinner back. It was fun though. All the pain was worth it!

That concludes day 3. CWC coming right up!
